The applicant would like to install a 15’ by 40’ in-ground lap pool at a location

have the minimum 4-foot enclosure. The pool will be heated by air-source heat
pump with the power offset by an existing solar array. Pool equipment will be
housed in an existing basement. The pool will be equipped with an off-season

This applicant received a special permit to install a pool in April 2021. The pool
as approved would have an automatic safety cover, a polycarbonate enclosure
and a fence – the applicant seeks to change the site plan to remove the
additional fencing around the pool. At the November ZBA meeting, the Board
requested a site visit to assist in their determination.
