Our Mission
The mission of the Chilmark Shellfish Department is to conserve and propagate shellfish in local town waters and enforce town shellfish regulations.
Procedure for Purchasing Shellfishing Permits:

If you are unable to purchase your permit online, please contact the Shellfish Constable:

You will receive an email receipt confirming your shellfish permit. No paper shellfish permit will be issued at this time.
