About Us
The Community Preservation Committee considers projects that preserve open space and historic sites, create affordable housing, and develop outdoor recreational facilities.
2026 applications are due on October 2, 2026. Application forms will be available in April on this web page.
A public hearing was held to gather community feedback on overall Community Preservation Act needs in town. This was an informational hearing on the needs, possibilities and resources of Chilmark regarding community preservation possibilities and resources held on September 16, 2025 during the Select Board meeting .
