Please go HERE to apply for a mailed ballot. 

If you apply using the link to the MA Official 2021 VOTE BY MAIL Application, you will receive both the Annual Town Election Ballot and the Special Town Election Ballot by mail to the address you indicate. 

Voting in person will occur on the day of the elections, Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at the Chilmark Community Center at 520 South Road, Chilmark: Polls open from 12PM-8PM

There are no in-person EARLY voting sessions scheduled for the spring Town Elections.

Returning Town Election VOTE By MAIL Ballots:

Ballots may be returned, sealed inside the brown kraft Early Ballot affidavit envelope that was mailed with your ballot, to either of the two DROP BOXES at Chilmark Town Hall, 401 Middle Road, Chilmark.

Please remember to complete the affidavit on the outside of the brown kraft Early Ballot envelope WITH YOUR SIGNATURE.

The Chilmark Town Hall continues to be closed to the public at this time. If you arrive at Town Hall, during regular weekday business hours (9AM-5PM) to return a ballot and you require guidance or have a question, please ring the doorbell at the entrance door and a person will come out to you. You may also email the townclerk@chilmarkma.gov or call 508-645-2107. The Asst. Town Clerk may be reached by telephoning the Town Hall main number, 1-508-645-2100, and selecting ext. 0 or to email asstexecsec@chilmarkma.gov. 

Ballots returned to a DROP BOX at Chilmark Town Hall, must be deposited no later than 8PM on the Election Day, May 26, 2021. The Drop Boxes are checked at 8PM sharp on election day for any ballots deposited.

Ballots may also be returned via USPS mail using the enclosed pre-addressed mailing envelope and must be received no later than 8PM on the Election Day, May 26, 2021.
