Important May 2021 Town Election Information

Vote By Mail is available now for both the upcoming Annual Town Election and Special Town Election on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

The deadline to apply to vote by mail is Thursday, May 20, 2021 by 5PM.

Any Chilmark registered voter may apply to vote by mail. No excuse is required.

The Last Day to REGISTER to vote (in order to appear on the voting list) for the SPECIAL TOWN ELECTION is Thursday, May 6, 2021.

The Last Day to REGISTER to vote (in order to appear on the voting list) for the ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION is Saturday, May 15, 2021.

To register to vote, go ONLINE, submit a MAIL-IN form or if IN-PERSON please call the Town Clerk at 1-508-645-2107 or email townclerk@chilmarkma.gov to make an appointment to visit the Town Hall.

Registering to vote in-person at the Chilmark Town Hall will be available on May 6 and May 15 from 2-4PM and 7-8PM. The Town Hall is closed to the public at this time. Please ring the doorbell at the main entrance at 401 Middle Road to have a person come out to you.
