Vote By Mail: Important Information for Voters

The deadline to apply to VOTE BY MAIL for the State Primary is Monday, August 29, 2022, 5PM. 

Applications can be submitted by mail, email, online at MA Elections Division or fax. If you’re emailing your application, you need to sign it in a way that can be compared to your hand-written signature. Electronic signatures, scanned applications, and photos of applications are acceptable. Typed signatures cannot be accepted. The Chilmark Town Clerk's email is townclerk@chilmarkma.gov. If mailing an application, be sure to mail to Chilmark Town Clerk, P.O. Box 119, Chilmark, MA 02535. The Town Hall fax # is (508) 645-2101.

To return your Vote Early by Mail mailed ballot (no later than 8PM on State Primary election day, Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022), you have the option of:

1.) Mailing it back using the pre-addressed, prepaid envelope provided.

2.) Hand-delivering your ballot to the Chilmark Town Hall at 401 Middle Road.

3.) Dropping your ballot off at the Chilmark Town Hall at 401 Middle Road during early voting hours. Please go HERE to view the days and hours of in-person Early Voting at Chilmark Town Hall.

4.) Dropping your ballot into a ballot drop box outside the main door of Chilmark Town Hall at 401 Middle Road.
