Steamship Authority schedules information sessions for island residents on available programs and services

The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority has scheduled public information sessions for Nantucket and Vineyard residents to learn about available islander programs and discounts. The session for Nantucket residents will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2021; the session for Vineyard residents will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021
The sessions will begin with a brief presentation, followed by time for questions and answers from the participants. The sessions will run at least 30 minutes, or longer depending on the number of participants and questions. The sessions will be recorded and posted on the Authority’s YouTube channel, youtube.com/SteamshipAuthority1.
Topics to be discussed include:

  • Transportation Access Passes
  • Reservation assitance for off-island doctor appointments
  • College excursion program
  • Military excursion program
  • Reduced medical travel program
  • Preferred space
  • Drive-on/drive-off service (Nantucket only)
  • Blue Line (Vineyard only)
  • Parking permits
