The article sets these aspirational, non-binding goals:

• Increase renewable energy in our electricity supply:
  • 50% by 2030, 100% by 2040
• Reduce fossil fuel use on island:
  • 50% by 2030, 100% by 2040
• Foster biosphere carbon capture through land use, saving and increasing wetlands, and growing woodlands
