Important Information from the Town Clerk's Office

As of January 17, 2023, Annual Street List forms have been mailed to all Chilmark residents. Please be sure to return your Annual Street List form as soon as possible.

Wednesday, March 8, 2023 by 5PM is the deadline for candidates to submit nomination papers for the certification of voter signatures for an office that will appear on the April 26, 2023 Annual Town Election ballot. Information about nomination papers may be found HERE. The list of offices that will appear on the 2023 Annual Town Election ballot may be found HERE.

The last day & hour to register to vote for the April 26, 2023 Annual Town Election is Friday, April 14, 2023, 5PM. You may confirm whether you are registered to vote by going HERE. You may register to vote or review/make changes to your voter registration information HERE.

The application to vote early by mail may be found HERE. Please fill out, sign and mail to Chilmark Town Clerk, P.O. Box 119, Chilmark, MA 02535 or drop off the application at the Town Hall at 401 Middle Road during regular business hours or into either of the outside drop boxes during hours when the Town Hall is closed. Alternatively, you may fax or email a scan or photo of the application or a handwritten request to townclerk@chilmarkma.gov, fax 508-645-2110. Please be sure that your signature may be compared to your hand-written signature. Electronic signatures, scanned applications, and photos of applications are acceptable. The deadline to submit an application for voting early by mail for the April 26th Town Election is Wednesday, April 19, 2023, 5PM.
