words IMPORTANT NOTICE

A Long Talk About The Uncomfortable Truth is an anti-racism empowerment experience. The experience is an honest conversation about how we can all do more than just being personally “not be racist.” This series of two workshops is designed to engage you in an ongoing conversation focused on truth, understanding, and problem solving, leading to individual and cooperative activism.

The Chilmark Community Center and the Town of Chilmark have joined together to offer this program to our community on Monday, June 26 and Thursday, June 29, 7-9pm, Chilmark Community Center. Over 12,000 people have engaged in this experience since the murder of George Floyd, in May of 2020. The program is free but you must register for it in advance.
