Chilmark Principal Search Committee Invites Community To Meet Final Candidates for School Principal

The Committee invites staff, students, parents, and community members to visit on each of the days so that everyone has the opportunity to meet the candidates and offer their input regarding the two finalists to the Chilmark Principal Search Committee.  If you wish to participate in the visit day, please do so at the allotted times.

Kate Squire – Friday 2/16/24

Alicia Knight – Tuesday 2/20/24

8:00AM – Welcome candidate with search committee members

8:30AM – Morning circle with students and staff (Parents welcome) – (Location – School, 8 State Road)

8:45AM – Meeting with Parents (Location – Chilmark Community Center, 520 South Road)

10AM – Meeting with Chilmark town leaders, community members, school staff, school committee members, broader MVYPS staff  (Location – Chilmark Community Center, 520 South Road)

11AM – Tour school and classrooms to meet with students and school staff (Location – School, 8 State Road)

12:45PM – Meeting with Chilmark town leaders, community members, school staff, school committee members, broader MVYPS staff (Location – Chilmark Community Center, 520 South Road)

1:45PM – Whole School Assembly (Location – School, 8 State Road)

2PM – Meeting with Parents (Location – Chilmark Community Center, 520 South Road)

2:50PM – Meeting with School Staff (Location – School)
