Become A Poll Worker for 2024!

This coming 2024 year will be a busy election year and help is needed.

The Chilmark Community Center at 520 South Road is the town's polling place where voting occurs. Poll workers perform a variety of important tasks there on election day. Poll workers are essential to running elections. They open the polls on election morning, check in voters and issue ballots, assist voters, close the polls, and hand tally the votes after the close of polls.

Advance training for poll work will be beginning before the end of the 2023 year. If working on election day interests you, please contact the Town Clerk for more information: 508-645-2107 or townclerk@chilmarkma.gov.
