Annual Town Meeting & Election Postponed - Special Election called to elect MODERATOR

Good Afternoon 

Nomination papers for the office of Moderator, to appear on the Special Town Election Ballot for the Special Town Election(STE) on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 (the same day as the Annual Town Election) were made available on March 23rd .
Announcements and information about nomination papers for the STE were posted on the Clerk webpage.

Nomination papers for the STE (Moderator) are due back to the office by Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 5PM. 

The Select Board met on March 22, 2021 and voted to sign the warrant for the May 26th STE. Once this warrant is signed by all members of the Select Board, the Constable will post.  On this coming Tuesday, April 6, 2021, the Select Board will be reviewing the Annual Town Meeting/Annual Town Election, May 24th & May 26th, warrant.

The Town Clerk has drafted the SPECIMEN ballot for the Annual Town Election and, after a final check early next week, we will be printing the Early/Absentee Ballots that will be used for voters to request and Vote By Mail from early April through May 20th.

The Spring Annual Town Meeting & Annual Town Election
have been postponed from April 2021 to MAY 2021:

  • ANNUAL TOWN MEETING MONDAY, MAY 24, 2021, 5:30PM
  • ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION WEDNESDAY, MAY 26, 2021, polls open 12PM-8PM

A Special Town Election will be held on the same
day and time as the Annual Town Election:
