Public Health Recommendations for Tisbury Great Pond

On Thursday, August 17th, Great Pond Foundation’s team conducted a pond-wide cyanobacteria sampling of Tisbury Great Pond. Thanks to the community members who also submitted additional samples this week. See the updated map below with hatch marks across the pond, representing the recommendations of West Tisbury and Chilmark Boards of Health. 

*Cyanobacteria and their associated toxins can shift with the wind and moving water, and conditions can change between the pond's samplings.
