For Two Cars and Two Beaches

Homeowners may put Lucy Vincent and Squibnocket Beach Stickers on different cars. This requires two separate applications.

Information for Tenants

Tenants may purchase parking stickers by mail through their rental agents. Please contact agents for more information. If no agent is involved, please contact the Homeowner.

You may not be able to purchase a sticker until the day after your lease starts depending on when you get to the sticker office, which closes at Noon, and also on the previous tenant’s expiration date. If that date overlaps yours, that tenant’s lease is honored for that last day. Two cars from the same house cannot park at the beach on the same day.

Homeowners must turn in their sticker to Town Hall for a tenant to be able to have a new sticker. An arriving tenant will not be issued a sticker if the departing tenant holds a sticker for that same day. Owners, rental agents and tenants are responsible for preventing this kind of confusion.

Transferring Stickers

Transfer stickers are issued so that home owners will not have to pay $100 for a Season Pass more than once a season.  THIS IS NOT for renters.

A season Sticker may be transferred from one car to another IF

  1. a car is disabled, or
  2. a car is traded for another car, or
  3. there are two or more owners of a house (i.e., one owner leaves and another takes his or her place) or more than one family shares a lease (i.e., one family leaves and another takes its place), or
  4. an owner purchases a sticker at the start of the season, leaves for a time and comes back;

This can be done repeatedly but the owner must apply and pay $35 each time.

People who plan to transfer a sticker must either date their season pass to indicate when they plan to leave or turn in their season pass before they leave.

A homeowner cannot give a season sticker to a tenant.
Each beach lease requires a new sticker.
No transfers are allowed from lease to lease.
The rental agent must certify extended leases or provide a new lease;
The tenant must pay the $35 transfer fee to obtain a new sticker.
