Update on FY26 District grants:  Available funds for both the FY25 and FY26 grants are being limited to a total of $25,000.  We had requested rolling about $34,000 from the FY25 budget into next Fiscal Year to complete the biochar project.  The FY26 grant request to hire a conservation planner was for $21,010 and another $9,900 for support of PHA and MVAS programs.

Obvious options include

1. accepting the FY26 grant and letting the biochar project go as well as most of the $9,900 requested in the FY26 grant. 
2. Continuing the biochar project at a reduced scale and letting the FY26 grant go

We need to settle on a path forward.
