Home Construction & Ownership Opportunity on Chappaquiddick

The Town of Edgartown is pleased to announce the opening of the application process for a parcel of land on Chappaquiddick being offered to first-time homebuyers as a home construction opportunity to households earning up to 150% of the area median income for Dukes County: $111,000 for a 1-person household; $126,900 for a 2-person household; $141,725 for a 3-person household; $157,050 for a 4-person household; $171,300 for a 5-person household; and $183,975 for a 6-person household.

The Town will transfer the parcel at no cost to a qualified applicant selected through the lottery and review process detailed in the available Information and Application Packet.
Applications are available on the Town of Edgartown’s website and on the DCRHA website, at the Dukes County Regional Housing Authority office at 21 Mechanic St, Vineyard Haven, and by phone or mail request to the DCRHA at 508-693-4419. Language assistance is available.
