Artist's Reception: Ronni Simon

Ronni Simon has expressed her creativity in a multitude of ways -- as a screenwriter, potter, and hand-colorist. The semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls that she uses in her jewelry are her palette. Ronni's designs are constantly evolving as she experiments with color and form and sees new ways to achieve that balance.

Her inspiration for her sculptures ​is based primarily upon her signature ​wrist cuff ​jewelry. With a desire to expand it far beyond the size of anyone’s wrist, and to be able to focus on form without regard to function, ​she increased the scale of the work. Ronni has lived on Martha's Vineyard for forty years and continues to be inspired daily by its magic and natural beauty.
