Important Spring Annual Town Meeting, Annual Town Election and Special Town Election Update: New Dates in May 2021

The Chilmark Annual Town Meeting has been postponed to MONDAY, MAY 24, 2021 at 5:30PM at the Chilmark Community Center at 520 South Road, Chilmark, MA. 

The Chilmark Annual Town Election has been postponed to WEDNESDAY, MAY 26, 2021, polls open from 12PM until 8PM at the Chilmark Community Center at 520 South Road, Chilmark, MA.

A Special Town Election is scheduled to occur on the same day as the Annual Town Election: WEDNESDAY, MAY 26, 2021, polls open from 12PM until 8PM at the Chilmark Community Center at 520 South Road, Chilmark, MA. This Special Town Election ballot will only include the Office of Moderator. Nomination papers for the office of Moderator will be available from the Town Clerk's Office at 8AM on March 23, 2021. Please call the Town Clerk at 508-645-2107 or email townclerk@chilmarkma.gov to arrange to obtain nomination papers for the office of Moderator.

The last day to register to vote for the Annual Town Meeting is TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2021.

The last day to register to vote for the Special Town Election is THURSDAY, MAY 6, 2021.

The last day to register to vote for the Annual Town Election is SATURDAY, MAY 15, 2021.

You may register to vote online, you may register to vote by mail or you may visit the Chilmark Town Hall at 401 Middle Road to register to vote in person. On the last day to register to vote for the Annual Town Meeting, the Annual Town Election and the Special Town Election the hours for registering to vote in person at Chilmark Town Hall are from 2-4PM and 7-8PM.

VOTE BY MAIL FOR THE ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION AND THE SPECIAL TOWN ELECTION ARE AVAILABLE.

PLEASE GO HERE TO APPLY FOR A MAILED BALLOT. IF YOU APPLY FOR A MAILED BALLOT USING THE VOTE BY MAIL BALLOT APPLICATION AT THE LINK, YOU WILL RECEIVE BOTH THE ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION BALLOT AND THE SPECIAL TOWN ELECTION BALLOT BY MAIL. 

VOTING IN PERSON FOR BOTH MAY 26, 2021 ELECTION BALLOTS WILL ALSO OCCUR DURING THE REGULAR HOURS OF TOWN ELECTIONS AT THE CHILMARK COMMUNITY CENTER AT 520 SOUTH ROAD: 12PM-8PM

THERE ARE NO IN-PERSON EARLY VOTING SESSIONS SCHEDULED FOR THE 2021 TOWN ELECTIONS.
