In accordance with Section 5 of Chapter 40A of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Chilmark Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, September 8, 2025, 4:40PM at the Chilmark Town Hall, at 401 Middle Road, Chilmark, MA 02535 to review proposed amendments to the Chilmark Zoning Bylaws as follows: To amend section 2.28 Tennis Court to include an expanded definition including Other Sports Courts, to amend section 4.2, A., 3. to include Other Sports Courts text in subsections a. through k., and amend subsections d. Setbacks and j. Noise by adding text regarding the mitigation of sound transmission.

Copies of the full text of proposed amendments are available from the Planning Board office at the Chilmark Town Hall, 401 Middle Road, and by electronic mail.
