DRAFT ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT ARTICLE 6 SECTION 6.11:  The Commission discussed the draft bylaw and asked when the next meeting of the Planning Board Subcommittee is scheduled.  Chuck H. said it is scheduled for September 22 @ 3:00 PM with a Planning Board update on 9/22 @ 4:30 PM.  Mr. Jason said while he is not sure if he can make it, he will try to attend.
HENRY ADAMS GUEST LECTURE – THOMAS HART BENTON, ADOLF DEHN, JACKSON POLLOCK:  Ms. Slater thanked everyone for their help with the guest lecture on August 13 and the art show the following morning.  The Library lecture filled the meeting room and there was very good attendance at the art showing which lasted from 9:30 – 11:30 am.  She has received nothing but positive feedback from those who attended.

RESTORE 35 GRAVESTONES IN ABEL’S HILL CEMETERY:  Mr. Flender said Kai Nalenz did a very good job of restoring the 35 slate gravestones.  He added the Cemetery Commission will discuss the possibility of having Mr. Nalenz restore the remaining slate stones with lead caps and make a recommendation to the Historical Commission.
